章瑞虹，登步岛的传奇女演员，曾在舟山市小百花越剧团荣获国家一级演员称号，被誉为“越剧界的明珠”。她的母亲是一位忠实的越剧迷，每当有机会，她都会带着章瑞虹去业余剧团观赏表演；父亲则是一位热爱二胡的音乐家，他拉起二胡时总是要叫上小瑞唱一段越剧。

从登步岛到普陀姑妈家，要坐一个多小时的轮渡。航程平淡无奇，但亲朋好友却会请她表演越剧，以此来打发旅途中的无聊时光。船上，她的手里总是装满了各种糖果，那些糖果其实是来自渔民们对她的喜爱和赞赏。

章瑞虹在小学毕业后，与家人一起搬到了沈家门。她16岁那年，一次偶然的机遇让她被市越剧团艺训班录取，这意味着她可以获得城市户口。

选拔过程极其激烈，上千名求职者竞争仅有的20个名额。在一次次考核之后，章瑞虹以优异的成绩成为最后的一份子。那是一个难忘的情景——1990年11月14日，是她走进艺术殿堂的日子。

两年的艺训结束后，章瑞虹成为了舟山市越剧团的一员。她的外貌秀美，让老师将她列为重点培养对象之一。

她的第一部折子戏便是《碧玉簪》。尽管夏季酷热无比，没有空调，但老师依然要求她们在户外练习：每天清晨5点，他们会聚集在群艺馆院内的大树下排练台步直至8点其他成员到齐，再继续练习唱腔。chapter 2

She played the role of Li Xiuqing in "The Jade Hairpin," which won her a second prize at the 1996 National Youth Actor's Folding Fan Play Competition.

Those years, after Chinese New Year, the troupe would embark on tours and return home around March 8th. She remembered that every year during Women's Day, they would receive their benefits while on tour. To save money, she and her colleagues would clean up the performance venues before performances began. After each show, they would sleep on the floor in the backstage area, where senior performers would regale them with stories of the golden age of Shaoxing Opera in the 1980s – when actors spent eight months a year touring.

In 2000, she starred as Guanyin in an original opera called "Guanyin Achieves Enlightenment," which was performed at Zhejiang Province's Eighth Drama Festival. For her outstanding performance, chapter 瑞红 was awarded "Young Actor Excellent Performance Award."
