那个声音 belonged to my classmate, Xiao Ming. He was the smartest student in our class, and he always seemed to be right.

But I wasn't alone in this feeling of inadequacy. There were others like me, struggling to keep up with the pace set by Xiao Ming and his friends. We would often huddle together during recesses, sharing our fears and frustrations about not being able to grasp certain concepts as quickly as they did.

One day, after a particularly tough math test, I found myself sitting alone at my desk while everyone else was busy chatting or playing games outside. I couldn't help but feel like an outcast among them all. That's when it hit me: why should we let their successes define us? Why should we feel inferior just because we don't excel in every subject?

I decided that enough was enough! It was time for me to stand up for myself and show them that there's more than one way to be intelligent. So I started attending extra classes during lunch breaks, seeking out tutors who could help me improve my weaknesses instead of trying to compete with those around me.

And you know what? It worked! Slowly but surely, I began making progress on those subjects that once seemed so difficult for me. The feeling of accomplishment grew stronger with each passing day until finally...I managed to score better grades than some of the students who had previously been ahead of me!

Xiao Ming noticed these changes too; he even came over one day after class and congratulated me on my newfound confidence and determination! For the first time ever since grade school started (well maybe), someone other than family members acknowledged something positive happening within him or her own self-improvement journey – no matter how small it might seem from where they stood at present moment

That moment made everything worthwhile – even if only briefly before moving forward again into new challenges waiting ahead next week when another round exams comes around corner .
