在我看来，越剧《大唐历史》是一部基于京剧《两游记》的改编作品，它讲述了唐僧师徒的西行之旅，在碗子山期间，他们遇到了黄袍怪的妻子百花羞，她劝他们速速逃走。然而，黄袍怪得知后赶来捉拿唐僧和沙僧，而悟空Ultimately killed the yellow-robed monster, rescuing Tang Monk and Sha Wujing. Later, the white-boned demoness attempted to eat Tang Monk's flesh, but was thwarted by Sun Wukong three times before being defeated.

Tang Monk became angry with Sun Wukong for causing harm three times and banished him. However, when Tang Monk and Sha Wujing were captured by demons, Sun Wukong transformed into an old demon and killed the white-boned demoness to rescue them. The group then passed through Fire Cloud Cave, where Tang Monk was kidnapped by Red Boy. Despite several attempts by Sun Wukong to defeat him, he was unable to do so until he sought help from Guanyin who subdued Red Boy.

As they continued their journey across West Liang Country where all its inhabitants are women), they encountered a female fish spirit who kidnapped them. After failing to defeat her in combat, Sun Wukong requested Guanyin's help once again who used a fish basket to subdue the spirit allowing Tang Monk and his disciples escape.

This play is known as "The Emergence of Tang Monk" or "Continuation of The Birth of Shakyamuni Buddha" which has five acts originally performed in 1936 at Ningbo Central Theater by Zhao Ruifang et al., showcasing the adventures of Monkey King during his pilgrimage with Master Tang on a quest for Buddhist scriptures from India back home in China.
