As I watched the Shanghai Yue Opera troupe's performance in Tianjin last night, I was struck by the dedication and professionalism of the actors on stage. The event, organized by Tianjin Daily Press Group and Shanghai Wenxin News Media Group, brought together some of China's most talented performers for a memorable evening at the China Theatre.

The highlight of the night came when actress Zhang Ruixiong suddenly collapsed on stage during a performance of "Mei Long Town," her heart condition causing her to lose consciousness.
