姚水娟 简介： 越剧之星，1916年诞生于浙江嵊县，青春初逢时，便投入艺术殿堂。十四岁的她，在艺坛上展开了精彩纷呈的篇章。十六岁时，她凭借卓越的才华，成为了公认的小花旦。在那个充满活力的年代，她踏上了演艺之路，不仅在群英舞台科班深造，还得到了女子越剧创始人金荣水亲自指导。她以一己之力，将越剧推向新的高度，一鸣惊人地在上海闯出名堂。

继而，她不仅吸收了姐妹艺术中的精华，更争取到了社会各界人的支持。她首先建立起了一套完整的编导制度，并倡导排演新戏，这些举措为越剧改革奠定了坚实的基础。在1940年，与李艳芳合作组建了越华剧团，他们共同打造了一系列新编剧目，这些作品在各大戏院中占据着高位尤其是《泪洒相思地》和《啼笑因缘》，两者都获得了极高的人气和票房。

当时她的声誉达到了巅峰，被视为改良越剧的代表人物。后来，她与王水花、张桂莲、竺素娥等一众女伶携手并进。1951年加入浙江省越剧实验队伍，而1952年的她，则被收入浙江省越劇团。在1961年的秋天，她走进了浙江省艺术学校教书room。

She was also known for her ability to learn from other forms of Chinese opera, such as Shaoxing Opera, Peking Opera, Hangzhou-Huangshan Opera, and Northern Drumming. Her acting skills were all-rounded; she could play various female roles and even take on male roles. She performed many classic plays with great success. In 1962, she starred in the film "Bijudezhuan," playing the role of Liufuren.

In the late 1930s to early 1940s, recording companies like Lige Records and Victory Records released several records featuring her performances in plays like "Tears Falling Like Rain," "Xi Shi Washing Silk," "Book Room Meeting," and "Eighteen Farewells."
