悉尼越剧团成立于2003年9月，是海外唯一的越剧团，越剧表演艺术家徐玉兰、金采风亲自从国内前来剪彩。三年多来，该团从清唱到折子戏专场，为旅澳华人和西人多次演出，其布景、道具不断完善，迄今已经发展到配备中英双语字幕唱词。演员逐渐年轻化、知识化、流派纷呈。越剧团的奉献精神获得中外观众的好评。目前这朵中华文化的奇葩已经融入到澳洲主流社会。
